Create your free account
Go to rhetoricaudit.com/auth/sign-up. Enter your email and a password, or click Continue with Google to sign up in one step.After submitting the email/password form, Rhetoric Audit sends a confirmation email to the address you provided.
Verify your email
Open the confirmation email from Rhetoric Audit and click the verification link. This activates your account and credits your 10 free analyses. You are redirected to your dashboard automatically.
If the email doesn’t arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder. The sender address is from
rhetoricaudit.com.Choose your access method
You have two ways to analyze articles. Use either or both — they share the same account and credit balance.Option A — Chrome extension (recommended for browsing)Install the Rhetoric Audit Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store. Once installed, click the extension icon on any open article page to trigger an analysis inline. The extension uses Manifest V3 and requires no API key configuration.See Chrome Extension for a full setup walkthrough.Option B — Web dashboardNavigate to rhetoricaudit.com/analysis in any browser. Paste a URL or article text directly into the dashboard to run an analysis without installing anything.
Run your first analysis
Open any news article you want to evaluate. Then:
- Extension: Click the Rhetoric Audit icon in your browser toolbar. The analysis panel opens in the sidebar.
- Dashboard: Paste the article URL or text into the input field and click Analyze.
Understand your results
Your forensic report covers 15 diagnostic parameters organized into several categories:
