The Scan History page is a permanent, searchable record of every forensic audit you have run. Each row stores the article title, source URL, scan date, manipulation risk score, dominant ideology, fallacy density, evidence validity, and intellectual depth label — everything you need to revisit or share an earlier finding. Go to Dashboard → History or visit rhetoricaudit.com/dashboard/history to open it.

Filtering and sorting your history

Use the filter bar at the top of the History page to narrow results.
1

Search by keyword

Type any word from the article title, URL, or ideology label into the Search field and press Enter or click Apply.
2

Filter by ideology

Open the Ideology dropdown and select one of the ten ideology categories to show only scans that match.
3

Set a date range

Enter a start date in From and an end date in To to restrict results to a specific period.
4

Apply or clear

Click Apply to run the filtered query. Click Clear to remove all active filters and return to the full list.
Results are paginated at 10 per page. Use the page controls at the bottom to move between pages. All filters persist in the URL, so you can bookmark or share a filtered view.

Opening a saved analysis

Click any row in the history table to re-open the full forensic report for that scan. The report page is identical to the one you saw when the scan first completed. Re-opening a saved analysis does not use a credit.

Sharing a scan

Every scan has a permanent shortlink. Open the full report for any scan and copy the share URL from the address bar or the Share button. Anyone with the link can read the report — they do not need a Rhetoric Audit account.
Shortlinks are permanent. Once a scan is saved, its URL does not change even if you rename your account or delete it.

Exporting a PDF

Open any scan report and click Export PDF. Rhetoric Audit generates a formatted PDF of the full forensic report — including all 15 parameter scores, the bias spectrum visualization, and the summary narrative — and downloads it to your device.

Anonymous scans and account claiming

You can run analyses without creating an account. Anonymous scans are tied to the device you used, not to a login. When you sign up for a Rhetoric Audit account on the same device where you ran anonymous scans, those scans are automatically claimed to your new account. They appear in your Scan History immediately after signup — no action required on your part.
If you used the Chrome extension anonymously before signing up, sign in to your new account in the same browser and your past scans will be claimed automatically.
Anonymous scans are claimed based on device identity. If you switch browsers, use a private browsing window, or clear site data before signing up, anonymous scans from those sessions cannot be recovered.
